Note moyenne 1,0 basée sur 1 avisYesterday I bought a new tank there. I went out to the bus stop and put the tip from my other tank on the new tank. I had bought that tip there about a week earlier, but I knocked it off and didn’t have it anymore. They were closed, so that was that. I had to come back the next day for a new tip.
When I asked for a new tip, they showed me a box — but it was a different box of tips. I bought one, although it didn’t make me very happy. I walked out of the store, turned right around and asked for a shorter tip like the one I’d bought the previous week. But the guy said that they only had the one size.
Now, is it possible that they had a big run on tips and sold 30 in the last week? I guess it’s possible. But is it more likely that the guy just wasn’t motivated to go into the back and grab the other box I saw before? That seems more likely.
Maybe they really sold out — stranger things have happened. For example, if I ever went back to that store, that would be one of those stranger things. Maybe I’m misinterpreting things and he was just too lazy to walk a few steps and grab the other box.
Why am I so frustrated about this? Well, it’s not exactly close to my house — I have to take two buses to get there. So it was a bit of an inconvenience to make the trip twice in two days. Was it too inconvenient for that guy to stop chatting with his buddy behind the counter and check the back room? I think so.
I’m a real customer — the day before I spent over a hundred dollars there. If I were a quicker person, I might have told him to go check the box I saw the previous week when he said they only had one size. But unfortunately, if people tell me something that doesn’t seem true, I usually just let it go because I don’t have the patience to argue.
In any case, this experience was disappointing, and I don’t think I’ll be returning to that store again.
