I contacted the Vanguard Director for an update regarding an investigation I had requested about information shared by senior staff with that director and my aunt’s Agent holding Power of Attorney. I believe the staff may have acted with good intentions, possibly misunderstanding the situation while trying to protect my aunt. The Director advised me to address the matter directly with the Agent, which was concerning, as this person had previously involved staff in actions that created confusion within our family. The Agent is currently required by court documents to appear before a judge and provide an accounting, after having declined a previous request from an interested party
