Called to get my chimney cleaned and asked for the tech to inspect a vent of side of house as damper is gone and birds been nesting there, I was told ok " will add to tech note", tech arrived cleaned the chimney inside house using brush with 4 attachments and shop vac, and I asked to inspect the vet on side of house, he brought his ladder , and took a look and said all seems ok, I asked him it is impossible to say ok with removing the vent cover and clean it as sure birds nesting for 2 years, he said "he cant do that nor he has time for this ", called the office and spoke with Tylor who agreed with my complaint, 2 hrs later I got a called for the owner saying this is out of the scope of their business?? So why they did not say that when I called for the service to start with? For $173.25 in 10 min job inside house with brush and shopvac I would rather do it my self. Later in day My neighbor got a long ladder and we cleaned a Massive birds nests their and put a new cover in 15 Min.. Shame on Chim Chminey . No walk on roof to inspect the chimney cover of other vents, and their web site deceiving showing a tech on the Roof with brush while they do it inside house with no efforts to inspect on top.
