This school should be reported for child abuse because they have no care for the well being of the children that are subject to their control. The Fraser Institute results absolutely fo NOT reflect the quality of teaching of this backwardly school. It reflects their abusive obsession for assigning excessive amounts of school work. Six to twelve hours of school work per day (weekends included) would rank any kid high on the provincial achievement tests. This is nothing short of chid abuse! The teachers are low quality. Don’t kid yourself! High quality teachers don’t work for schools that have minimal interaction with kids. The new teachers especially are the lowest quality. They are the left overs that no other school board wants! The majority of the teachers put in the bare minimum for efforts & every decision they make is based on what will make their job easier- with no care for what is best for their students learning. They assign long time consuming assignments often due on Monday’s - with full expectation that the kids will be working all weekend long. The caliber of their teaching is inferior to the caliber of what they excessively assign. It’s disgusting watching this play our! They are the only ones who get a long weekend off as well. They can’t count how many days are in a four day school week - they will assign 5 lessons regardless of a 4 day week. They have no respect at all! Say good bye to every long weekend that lands on a Friday especially. These arrogant people have a juvenile attitude that excessive amounts of assignments is equivalent to a high quality education. If you are thinking of signing up for this kind of learning, say good bye to all your weekends and expect that your kids will do nothing social - just homework. They are shameful!
