    At church today, an elderly man had an episode (fainted, heart issue...? I’m not sure). 911 was called. It took the fire fighters 18 minutes to arrive. It took the EMS ambulance 3 or 4 minutes longer than that - and we were a mere three blocks from the EMS station. Too long to respond from that short of a distance. Once the various crews were on site, it appeared they handled the situation well.
